Imposing large Art Nouveau French Mantle Clock with Candelabra entitled Passage du Gué features a sculpture by A. J. Scotte (France, 1867 - 1925) with matching five candlesticks candelabra in spelter atop the green onyx marble raised on four foliates ormulo, gilt bronze feet. The clock face is made of handpainted enamel having gilt bronze hands and covered with glass door surrounded with floral and foliate gilt bronze ornaments. In good working state mechanical movement marked AD Mougin and hourly striking mechanism with a brass bell. This clock comes with a pendulum and winding key. Made in France circa 1900. The clock has been serviced and it works well with winding key. In good condition with minor traces of wear, some natural crackings, minor chips and restorations on marble, minor verdigris and a hairline crack on one candelabra and other details consistent to age with amazing aging patina.
