Authentic factory fire survivor, a set of three vintage toy doll head molds. These molds are made of copper and metal with traces of fire destruction but remained intact radiating a variable curiosity characters. They were originally from a doll factory of UNICA Courtrai, Belgium. The company was established in 1923 by Jeanne Verhoye and Joseph Deckmyn, produced dolls in papier-mâché. Their doll creations were further developed through the knowledge of unemployed German Doll Makers few years after the WW1. It was such a quality handmade production, that they became a purveyor to the Belgian Royal Family. The well-known Belgian doll factory was completely destroyed by a heavy fire on 21 Aug. 1971, it lasted three days and resulted to end of production. Each doll head molds is with visible hallmarks of UNICA BELGIUM during the 1st of half 1900. In very good condition with traces of wear, event and other details consistent to age.
