Stunning Napoleon III carved giltwood plant console, vase stand. High quality craftsmanship, heavy wood structure with magnificent details, the top surrounded with laurier leaf carvings, centered alto-relievo floral ornament over the fabric drapery shape carvings raised on three legs with each leg adorned with scrolling top acanthus carvings shifted to elabote fur carvings and  highlighted with paw feet carvings. Made in France, last quarter of 1800. In very good condition with traces of ware, minor chips and crackings, aging spots, charming fading patina and minor details consistent to age. An eye catcher piece that will a make statement to a charming interior!
