Impressive art deco pheasant statue attributed to Irenee Rochard  (France, 1906-1984). It features patinated and handpainted spelter wild fowl perched on a retangular alabaster atop the signed "I. ROCHARD" marble base. In very good vintage condition with traces of wear, some natural hairline fissures in alabaster,  minor chips on marble and other details consistent to age and artisan craftsmanship.  Kindly refer to pictures as integral part of the descriptions. A classic decorative piece that will make a statement to charming interior!
