Stunning vintage oil on canvas portrait of a black and gray cat with an interior scene on the background. An impressive Belgian school artwork by Madeleine Peters-Tombu (Belgium, 1897-1996). Signed and dated 1955 by the artist to the lower right corner, nestled in a wooden frame. In very good vintage condition with traces of wear and details consistent to age and artisan craftsmanship.
