Stunning  antique portrait of a nobleman, oil on canvas by Henri De Nobele (Belgium, 1820-1870). He was known for his highly detailed portraits and depicting scenes from everyday life. This lovely artwork is signed by the artist to the lower right corner, dated 1843. It is mounted in a custom made quality gilt wood frame. In very good condition with traces of wear, some cracks and chips on frame and other details consistent to age.
