Stunning antique male portrait oil on canvas painting. An original oil painting by Jan Willem Edouard Van Canegem (Belgium 1833-1901) depicts a mustache man wearing a common man clothing typical to late 19th century in central europe. This artwork is signed by the artist and dated 1896. It is mounted to a custom made stucco and gilt wood frame. In good condition with traces of wear, fine aging cracks to painting, some patina to frame and other details consistent to age.  Kindly refer to the images as integral part of the descriptions.
