Impressive large bouquet of flowers in a vase, oil on canvas still life painting by Michel Antoine Hendrickx (Mechelen, Belgium 1847-1906 Amsterdam, Netherlands). He was known for his distinctive monumental wall paintings and his impressionist style in portraying flowers and still life, signed lower right corner.  A late 1800 romantic oil painting depicting large bouquet of flowers in a vase and mounted in a richly decorated, high quality gilt wood frame.  In very good condition with some age and wear related cracks, hairlines on the side of the frame and tiny carved out piece on the back part of the frame where a spotlight once attached.  Kindly refer to the images as integral part of the descriptions.  I do my best to provide photos that honestly reflect the character of the piece.
