Charming vintage oil on panel painting depicting three attractive posing cats. Beautiful elaboration of expression in details entitled "Jeunes Persans". The painting is visibly signed to the lower right corner and on the back Madeleine Tombu (Belgium, 1897-1995) dated 1972. She was painter of landscapes, interiors, still life and animal portraits, graphic artist and poet. Daughter and student of Léon Tombu, well-known Belgian artist at the Academy of Huy, Belgium. This artwork will be delivered in original custom made carved gilt wood. In very good condition with traces of wear, minor stucco chippings on frame and other details consistent to age.
