Exquisite vintage Le Tallec Atelier hand-painted and hand gilded Limoges Porcelain lidded jar. Very fine and highly crafted having Parisian blue and white base color, accented with lavish gold elements, colorful floral and foliages medallions and high relief molded heads, raised on paw feet base. This charming piece is signed and dated at the bottom in underglaze burgundy red “Dessiné et peint entièrement à la main par Le Tallec à Paris” translated to "Drawn and painted entirely by hand by Le Tallec in Paris", having blue "LT" written hallmark and "RG" artist's initial with dated code "uu" referred to 1964, made in Paris, France. In very good condition with light traces of wear, minor loss of color on inner rim and other minor details consistent to age. Kindly refer to pictures as integral part of the description.
Atelier Le Tallec was established early 1900, a familial hand-painted porcelain studio founded in Belleville, Paris.
