Impressive large pair of antique Dutch blue and white ceramic wall plaques with candle holders. Each piece artistically handcrafted features the hand-painted typical Dutch landscapes, one a cityscape with river scene and the other a seascape with medieval fortress. Made by Tichelaar Makkum, Netherlands late 1800. In very good condition having light aging glaze chips and craquelures, and other minor details consistent to  artisan craftsmanship.
