Astonishing antique devotional dome with statue of Madonna and Child.  Handcrafted glass dome on wooden holder features well-adorned arch of white bisque porcelain flowers, silk vine leaves, gilt metal foliates and peace dove with wreath. The centerpiece is the ormolu bronze figure of Mary and Baby Jesus raised on white marble and richly decorated base. The front base is marked N.D. "Notre Dame" de la Garde and VM 269 on the back. Made in France, the Dome late 1800 and the Notre Dame sculpture early 1900. In very good condition with minor traces of wear and other details consistent to age and artisan craftsmanship.  Kindly refer to the images as integral part of the description.
