Stunning Art Nouveau Christofle gilt plated inkwell. A single lid for double glass inkwells, masterly crafted with acanthus leaf details on overflowing elegant lines. It has visible engraved markings, Arnoux Sc. on side foot and the Christofle cartouche hallmarks with no. 1917940, made in France early 1900. In very good antique condition with minor traces of wear and details commensurate to age. Kindly refer to pictures as integral part of the description. A great novelty piece for serious inkwell collectors!
